If the due date for filing your return falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday, your return is due by the next regular working day.

Do I need to file?
You receive an automatic extension of time to file if you have received a valid federal extension. If you expect to owe Missouri state taxes, you should pay the estimated amount due by the original tax filing deadline to help avoid penalties and interest.
Filing methods
Online filing
Online (Fastest): You can bypass paper forms entirely by making an electronic payment through the Payment Portal. Select "Extension Payment" as your payment reason. Making this payment digitally logs your extension.
Mail filing
By Mail: If you want to mail a check, you must print and fill out Missouri tax forms. Mail the form along with your payment voucher and check to the address listed on the document.
